Texas A&M is traveling to Tuscaloosa this weekend to play the Alabama Crimson Tide, and it should be a great game.

The spread is -26.5 in favor of Alabama, and I think that spread is downright insane. How could anybody think Alabama will win by nearly four touchdowns? It’s just not going to happen.

Let me lay out the facts for everybody here. Alabama is almost certainly going to win this game, but it’s going to be a lot closer than people anticipate. The Aggies have Kellen Mond at quarterback, which should scare fans of the Tide a little bit. (RELATEDSEC FANS DON’T LIKE TO USE FACTS WHEN DISCUSSING COLLEGE FOOTBALL)

Everybody knows Nick Saban historically struggles with running quarterbacks. It’s been the one part of the game he’s never fully mastered. Now, throw in Jimbo Fisher and you have a recipe for bettors and the Tide faithful to be disappointed when they don’t win by a billion.

Here’s my bold prediction for this game. This game will be within a couple scores by the time it’s all said and done. Mond will use his legs to make plays, Fisher will draw up a couple plays that keep Alabama on their feet and there is no shot in hell this is a blowout.

Alabama fans might not like it, but it’s 100-percent going to happen. You can catch the game on CBS at 3:30 p.m. EST.
