Conor McGregor Was Apparently The Inspiration For This Upcoming Blockbuster Movie

Conor McGregor was apparently a large part of the inspiration behind the upcoming movie “Venom.”

The film’s star Tom Hardy gave a recent interview explaining how the legendary UFC fighter played a part in building up his character.

“There was an aspect the studio wanted somebody who could fight, which they always do in these sort of hero movies. They want somebody who can have a scrap. Conor obviously wants to have a scrap with everybody, so that’s useful,” Hardy told RTE Entertainment. (RELATED: WATCH: Tom Hardy Wrestles With His Inner Demons In Wild Trailer For ‘Venom’)

I’m kind of on the fence about this movie. The plot, according to IMDB, is, “When Eddie Brock acquires the powers of a symbiote, he will have to release his alter-ego ‘Venom’ to save his life.” It seems interesting enough, and the trailer is pretty cool.

However, I’m certainly not on the fence anymore. I’m down for any movie that is inspired by McGregor. That sounds badass as hell.

I think I’ll have to check this one out when it’s released Oct. 5.
