The new Netflix show “I-Land” with Kate Bosworth sounds like it’s going to be outstanding.

The Hollywood Reporter reported the following details on the show:

Lost-like drama The I-Land, which Bosworth will star in and produce, is described as a sci-fi adventure series. When 10 people wake up on a treacherous island with no memory of who they are or how they got there, they set off on a trek to try to get back home. They soon discover this world is not as it seems. Faced with the island’s extreme psychological and physical challenges, they must rise to their better selves — or die as their worst ones.

I like the sound of this a lot. I mean, I really like the sound of this show. Ever since “Lost” ended, fans and television networks have been trying desperately hard to recreate some of the magic from the hit show. So far, nobody really has had any luck. However, it sounds like this one might actually have some legs to it. A show about 10 people on an island with no memory of how they got there? Yeah, I think you can sign me up for that without a doubt.

It’s been far too long since we had “Lost” on our televisions, and I’m willing to settling for something that’s even almost as good.

Hopefully, “I-Land” lives up to all the hype attached to something with this kind of premise.
