Clemson Fans Will Be Jumping For Joy When They Hear The Health Update On Injured Star QB

Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence sounds like he’s going to be just fine after suffering a shocking hit against Syracuse over the weekend.

The freshman phenom scrambled when he took a brutal shot, and it was one of the roughest hits you’ll ever see. Check it out below.

Fans of the Tigers, however, shouldn’t panic because it might not be as bad as initially believed. According to an update after practice Monday night from the coaches, Lawrence was said to have taken every single snap and was dealing with a neck strain instead of a concussion.

This should make Clemson fans everywhere very happy. With Kelly Bryant transferring, Lawrence is the only hope they have for major success at the quarterback position. They need him healthy and ready to play. The kid is only a freshman and probably already a top 10 player at his position in the country. He can absolutely sling it. (RELATED: ONE OF THE BEST QBS IN AMERICA ANNOUNCES HE’S TRANSFERRING. HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW)

The Tigers have a legit shot at a national title this year, but they will need Lawrence healthy the whole way if there is a chance of it happening.

I’m also glad to hear it’s a neck strain instead of a brain injury. You never want to see anybody get hurt, and you definitely don’t want to see anybody get their head scrambled up. Clemson has Wake Forest this weekend. I think there’s a great chance we’ll see Lawrence under center.
