Today, October 9, is Bella Hadid’s birthday.
The supermodel and Instagram favorite turns 22 years old today and has packed in an absolutely massive career in the modeling industry since she got her start at just 16 years old.
Born Isabella Khair Hadid, Bella was born and raised locally in Los Angeles, CA by a wealthy real estate mogul father and a former model mother. Hadid grew up racing horses competitively and even aspired to race in the Olympics but was forced to scale back her racing after contracting Lyme Disease.
Hadid, no stranger to the spotlight, is the younger sister of supermodel Gigi Hadid. The two routinely model together on various campaigns, including Balmain, Tommy Hilfiger, Fendi, and Moschino.
And Bella’s dating life is just as star-studded. She has been linked to Grammy-winning singer The Weeknd — real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye — in an on again, off again relationship.
