A German Bf-109 crashed Tuesday in Los Angeles, and the video is wild.

TMZ reported the following:

The plane slammed down Tuesday afternoon on the 101 Highway in Agoura Hills — just outside L.A. —  and went up in flames. Somehow, the pilot managed to avoid any cars on the freeway, and reportedly got it down cleanly … until one of the wings clipped the center divider. That’s when the fuel ignited.

The pilot was the only person on board, and was somehow uninjured.

Check out the crazy video below.

Ladies and gentlemen, that’s an absurd situation. True story, I was once hanging up laundry when three “Japanese zeros” dropped down from the clouds. I was about 10 years old and legit thought Pearl Harbor 2.0 was about to get underway.

That situation is nothing compared to a German WWII fighter plane falling from the sky onto a Los Angeles highway. TMZ reported it’s unknown if it was a replica or an original, but it doesn’t matter. It looks like the real deal, and that means you should just safely assume it’s time to get into Red Dawn phase. (RELATED: Here’s The Simple Reason ‘Red Dawn’ Is One Of The Greatest Movies Ever Made)

Grab your guns and prepare to hold off any invaders at all costs. That’s the American way.

In all seriousness, I’m obviously glad the pilot was safe and sound after the crash. However, you can’t really blame anybody who would freak out if they saw an enemy plane come down from the sky. I think it’s the only rational reaction to have.
