Seattle Seahawks rookie receiver D.K. Metcalf has made a very positive impression on the rest of the team so far.

Metcalf generated an insane amount of attention coming out of Ole Miss, and he figures to be a major part of the receiving game for Russell Wilson. Luckily, the team’s star quarterback is very impressed.

“Well, it’s great seeing DK make his plays. I think DK is looking really, really special. He can do anything and everything and he’s tremendous,” Wilson told the media Wednesday, according to ProFootballTalk.

I really can’t wait to see what Metcalf does in the NFL.  The Seahawks need an elite receiver, and the former Rebels star looks like he was built in a lab. (RELATED: Russell Wilson Agrees To $140 Million Extension With The Seahawks, Gets $65 Million Signing Bonus)

If he shows up and shows out for Seattle, then Wilson is going to have an extremely dangerous weapon running throughout the secondary.

The last thing I’d want as a small cornerback would be looking at a guy Metcalf’s size across the line of scrimmage.

If the massive receiver turns out to even be a fraction as good as expected, the Seahawks are going to be doing a lot of fun stuff on offense.

Wilson can make plays outside of the pocket, which should give Metcalf more time to run around and get open downfield.

If you’re a fan of the Seahawks, you have to be excited right now as the two build a bond.
