Arizona State President Michael Crow is trying to pick a fight with Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh.

Crow said the following about Harbaugh during a recent interview with 98.7 FM Arizona Sports when talking about a potential matchup with the Wolverines:

(Jim) Harbaugh, the coach at Michigan, he was the quarterback when ASU won the (1987) Rose Bowl. I would love — before whatever happens to him, since he can’t beat Ohio State, I would love to see us now take him on and beat him as coach

Look, I’m more critical of Harbaugh than most Michigan fans are, but I’m not going to let Crow shoot his mouth off without firing back. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The honor of the Big 10 is at stake. Does Jim Harbaugh deserve to be ripped at times? No doubt, but leave that to people in the Big 10.

Arizona State is a middle-of-the-road program at best. Let’s not sit here and talk trash to Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines.

That’s a really bad look. Michigan would beat ASU probably nine times out of 10. Hell, they might never lose to the Sun Devils.

I’m all for trash talk, but know your place. If you’re not good enough to compete on the biggest stage in college football, then keep your mouth shut.

Michigan is our school to rip. It’s not for the PAC-12 to get involved with. While I hate the Wolverines, I’ll always defend the B1G when an outside force attacks.

ASU better be careful what they wish for because I have no doubt the Wolverines would pulverize them.
