Colorado State football Steve Addazio will make a nice chunk of money to coach the Rams.

According to the Coloradoan, Addazio, who came from Boston College, has received a five-year contract with a starting salary of $1.5 million in 2020. From there, he’ll earn annual $50,000 raises through the life of the deal. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

CSU is one of the better Group of Five jobs out there, and they have the money to get the job done to be competitive.

Handing Addazio a contract worth $1.5 million to start isn’t a tough ask at all for the Rams. That’s not a financial burden.

However, it does provide their new ball coach with a substantial amount of cash to take over the program.

Again, the Rams have a very strong Group of Five job. They’re one of the best and now Addazio is responsible for leading the way.

If he can get things rolling, then the Rams could do incredibly well under his leadership.
