NFL players voted Sunday to approve the new CBA.

The new CBA includes a 17-game schedule starting in 2021, two extra playoff teams and more money going to the players. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

According to Adam Schefter, 51.5% of players voted in agreement, and 48.5% of players voted against it. It’ll be in effect for the next decade.

Well, there you have it, folks. The biggest story of the NFL offseason is officially over. After tons of tough negotiating time, we have our CBA.

That means there won’t be a lock, it means the players will get more money, it means the season is expanding and the playoffs are growing.

If you’re a fan of the NFL, you have to be happy right now. I know I sure am. It looked like there was a very real chance the proposed CBA wouldn’t pass, and it only narrowly did.

However, now that it’s done and over with, we can get back to focusing on the game. You’re certainly not going to hear me complain about the regular season and the playoffs expanding.
