Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney has full confidence in America’s ability to win the war against coronavirus.

Right now, the virus is ravaging this great nation and sports have been put on hold. If you thought the two-time national champion was worried about the future, you’d be very wrong. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Swinney said the following in part about beating the virus, according to Larry Williams:

This is America, man. We’ve stormed the beaches of Normandy. We’ve driven a car on Mars. We’ve walked on the moon. We have the smartest people in the world. We’re going to rise up and we”e going to kick this thing right in the teeth and get back to our lives.

Thanks for your best effort, coronavirus! Thanks for showing up, but Swinney just ended the war on sight.

Coronavirus just got decapitated by Swinney. The virus might have thought it had a chance. Swinney put its lights out like it was nothing.

Remember when I said football coaches were going to help win this war? Well, Swinney’s comments are just the latest example and I’m loving the WWII examples.

Mike Leach reminded people we bombed the Japanese and Swinney is reminding people we beat the hell out of the Nazis on D-Day.

I’d follow Dabo Swinney into battle any day of the week. There’s no doubt about it at all, and now he’s officially all in on the war against coronavirus.

We’re happy to have him on the team! With Swinney dropping quotes like the ones above, we’re going to cruise to victory.
