The war to save college football during the coronavirus pandemic continues to rage on across America.

Right now, people are looking for leadership, hope and inspiration as we do everything we can to make sure the season happens. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Here is my pledge to all the fans out there. Much like Jon Snow coming back from the dead to lead his people, I will lead the fight to save the college football season.

This is now my burden to carry, and I will lay it all on the line to get the job done.

We’re Americans, and we don’t back down from anything. We’re the country that put men on the moon, stormed the beaches of Normandy and I’ll be damned if we let a virus end our football season.

We will fight, adapt, study our enemy and we remain fully committed to victory. We have a game plan, and we have to follow it.

If we do that, then we’re going to win this war.

I can almost taste that first beer for the season opener on my tongue right now. We have some hard days ahead of us, but we’re not going to give up.

Coronavirus can throw everything it has at us, but we’re going to roll right through. Prepare for battle, gentlemen. I’m proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with all of you.

Now, let’s go win this war!
