The text Florida State football coach Mike Norvell sent players has reportedly been revealed.
Norvell recently said he had individual conversations with every single player on the team amid ongoing civil unrest, but star Marvin Wilson claimed that was a lie. He also said players weren’t going to work out “until further notice.” (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Man this ???? did not happen mane. We got a generated text that was sent to everybody. There was no one on one talk between us and coach. This is a lie and me and my teammates as a whole are outraged and we will not be working out until further notice ???? #hunchoout https://t.co/6Uuy6K7Eu3

Now, the text of the message is out, and it’s not nearly as bad as you might have believed based off of Wilson’s tweet.
According to the Tallahassee Democrat, the message read in part, “I know there is anger and strong feelings that come with each day and every experience but please know better days are ahead because of YOU. Be safe and please always know we are here for you as coaches and staff if you ever need to talk. You have a tremendous platform as member of our Nole family.”
You can see a screenshot of the message in the tweet below.

Okay, this entire situation might be being blown way out of proportion. It looks like it all boils down to whether or not Norvell individually met with players, which doesn’t seem to be the case.
However, if you read the message, it’s pretty clear he’s making it clear he’s open to talk for anyone interested. This seems to be more of a misunderstanding than an actual issue.

According to Bob Ferrante, the team had a Thursday morning meeting that “went well.” It seems like this issue can more or less be put to rest.
It’s important to sometimes push back from the table for the night and recognize when a misunderstanding goes too far.
That seems to be the case here. Let’s just move on.
