Musician Kanye West has dropped his first single since the release of his album “Jesus Is King.”

The new single, titled “Wash Us In The Blood,” seemingly matches his newfound religious theme in his music. Kanye even released a music video to go with the new single featuring Travis Scott and his daughter North.

Kanye first announced the release of the new song on Twitter. The single is part of his upcoming album “God’s Country.”

“Jesus Is King” was Kanye’s first religious album following the release of “Ye” in 2018.

I’ve actually enjoyed Kanye’s new stuff a lot and I’m interested to hear what his next will sound like. He is a master of music and everything he creates is always edgy enough to make it different from what everyone else is producing. “Jesus Is King” was mostly a success. The album debuted on the Billboard Top 200 and with 264,000 equivalent album units, according to Billboard. 109,000 of those 264,000 were actual album sales.

That’s pretty good. It’ll be interesting to see if Kanye can keep his OG fans involved in his new style of music. Kanye doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
