UNC star Sam Howell is apparently not a fan of red meat.
According to ABC11, Howell revealed Wednesday that he has never eaten a steak or a thick and juicy burger in his life. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
What does the future NFL passer eat? Chicken, mostly in the form of nuggets and tenders.

I hate to do it, but UNC has to cut Howell. You simply can’t play with a starting quarterback who doesn’t hammer red meat.
Red meat is the backbone of America, and I can’t put a QB on the field who doesn’t eat it. Is that harsh? Sure, but football is about tough choices and tough decisions.
He has to go. It has to be done.

Not only do I want my QB eating red meat, but I want him personally killing his food. When he’s not in the film room, I want him stalking animals in the woods with nothing more than a knife.
I want him to be one with the land like he is one with the ball when we open up the offense. Clearly, Howell doesn’t fit that bill.
Cut Howell and find a QB who feasts on steaks and burgers. It’s the only option on the table at this point in the game.
