Multiple members of the Philadelphia Eagles reportedly had to be held back from confronting Doug Pederson during the team’s Sunday loss to Washington.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, two players on the defensive side of the ball “had to be held back from approaching Pederson” after he benched Jalen Hurts for Nate Sudfeld. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The Eagles ended up losing the game, and Pederson has been getting roasted ever since. It turns out his players are just as mad as people on the internet! You know things are going off the rails in Philly when players are apparently being held back from the coach.

Am I seriously the only person on the internet who understands why the Eagles didn’t win the game and shouldn’t have even tried to?

The Eagles were out of the playoffs no matter what happened Sunday, but their draft position was still very much in play.

If the team had won, they would have picked ninth. With a loss, which is what happened, the team got slotted in at six. How is this such a mystery to people?

I understand the players not being happy about Hurts leaving the game, but there’s no conspiracy here. This wasn’t done to spite the Giants, Pederson doesn’t dislike his second-round pick QB or anything else.

The Eagles are much better off picking at sixth than picking at ninth. This is just common sense. If players and fans don’t understand the reality of the situation, then I seriously don’t know what to tell you.
