Wisconsin will open the 2021 football season in Madison against Penn State.

Just out of pure curiosity, I looked up our 2021 schedule to get an idea of what Paul Chryst needs to prepare for, and I saw the Nittany Lions will be ready and waiting September 4 at Camp Randall. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

I love the fact that the Badgers going to open the season against PSU. I absolutely love it. Both teams had horrible 2020 campaigns, but they’re historic teams with great fan bases.

If you honestly think PSU and Wisconsin will both be down again next season, then you simply have no idea what you’re talking about.

The 2020 seasons were the exception to the rule for both teams, especially PSU.

Now, the biggest question is going to be whether or not fans are allowed in the stands and if we’ve gotten to a point in September where things are kind of normal.

I have no idea, but 2020 was the first time in about a decade I wasn’t at a Wisconsin football game. If the stands are open against PSU, there’s about a 99.9% chance I’ll be there.

We had a disappointing 2020 season, but I look forward to starting off on the right foot in 2021 against PSU.
