Conor McGregor still wants another crack at Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor famously lost to Khabib in 2018, and then all hell broke loose when the Russian-born fighter hopped out of the cage to confront other people. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Now, both are at Fight Island at the same time, but there shouldn’t be any problems. McGregor was asked Thursday about the situation during his UFC 257 press conference and said, “As long as we fight again, there’ll be no issue. That’s it. If he continues to run, I’m not sure. We’ll see what happens.”

The door to Khabib returning and fighting again has been cracked open, and I think there’s about a 100% chance McGregor gets his shot.

In 2018, he got waxed by Khabib. It wasn’t even close, and then we all remember the chaos that unfolded.

Now, McGregor is slated to fight Dustin Poirier this Saturday at UFC 257 and that’s the next step towards a rematch with Khabib.

If he wins, which I’m sure he will, then Khabib could be waiting on the horizon. The pay-per-view sales for the rematch will be gigantic.

Trust me, folks, I think it’s going to eventually happen. I’d be shocked if it didn’t.
