The Michigan Wolverines are the most represented college team in Super Bowl LV.

As of right now, there are seven total players on the Bucs and Chiefs going into the big game, according to Reddit user @e8odie. Assuming nobody gets cut before February 7, the Wolverines will have the most former players on the field with Tom Brady being the most notable. LSU is second with six.

It’s absolutely mind-boggling to me that Michigan has the most players on the Bucs and Chiefs, and yet, they’ve been terrible for more than a decade.

Granted, they’re not atrocious under Jim Harbaugh, but they’re far from great.

If you asked me the team with the most players in the Super Bowl, I would have naturally said Alabama. That’s the obvious choice.

Turns out, there are only two players from the Crimson Tide in the game! I don’t think anyone out there would have guessed Michigan would have more than three times as many players competing in Super Bowl LV than Nick Saban.

Also, if Patrick Mahomes goes down, then it’s Michigan man vs. Michigan man at QB because Kansas City backup Chad Henne also wore the blue and yellow.

Make sure to catch the game February 7 on CBS! It’s going to be a fun one.
