“Harry Potter” might be a TV series at some point in the future.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, early talks are underway by HBO Max and Warner Bros. to develop a series based on the iconic books from J.K. Rowling. (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)

However, it’s important to note that the entire situation is reportedly in its infancy and nobody has been hired at this point in time. The studio and streaming site both denied to THR that the wheels are spinning.

That means that we’re still years away from a Harry Potter TV series if one even happens at all.

In case you’re wondering my thoughts on this, I can tell you that I’m currently looking for the closest brick wall that I can run right through.

2020 sucked, 2021 isn’t off to a stellar start but this is awesome news.

“Harry Potter” is one of the greatest book series ever made. We’re talking about a series which turned an entire generation onto reading.

Then, we got eight movies, and all of those were also excellent. Find me something more successful in books and movies than “Harry Potter.”

The only thing that comes close is “Lord of the Rings.”

I know it’s very early in the situation, and there’s absolutely a long road to travel until we get a final product, which might not even happen.

However, that doesn’t mean I’m not excited. I once waited for hours out in the snow in Bozeman, Montana to see “Deathly Hallows – Part 1” in theaters, and then I went and saw it a few more times.

I am a huge Potter nerd.

Let’s hope everything comes together. I’m not even joking when I say I would take my first day off in years to prepare for it.
