Tickets to the Super Bowl between the Buccaneers and Chiefs are absurdly expensive.

As of this moment, the cheapest ticket on SeatGeek with fees included costs $11,188. Yes, you read that correctly. The cheapest ticket to get through the door to watch the Chiefs and Bucs will cost you as much as a used car. In case you wanted to really ball out and sit in a nice spot, the most expensive ticket to the game is currently listed for more than $600,000.

One of the reasons tickets are so insanely expensive is because capacity at the game in Tampa is going to be severely restricted.

The NFL is only letting in 22,000 fans, and 7,500 of them are healthcare workers coming as guests of the league.

That means there aren’t many tickets at all for the rest of the fans interested in going. Naturally, that’s forced prices to go through the roof.

Having said that, if you have the money and love your team, then there’s nothing wrong with spending it. You never know when you’ll get another shot.

Trust me, if the Lions ever punch a ticket to the Super Bowl, I’ll absolutely be there.
