Chris Simms has some laughable quarterback rankings ahead of the NFL draft.

Simms released his top five quarterback prospects in the draft Wednesday, and the list is outrageous. In order, he ranked the top six guys as Zach Wilson, Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones, Kellen Mond, Justin Fields and Trey Lance. Yes, Chris Simms thinks Kellen Mond is better than Justin Fields and that Trevor Lawrence isn’t even the top guy.

There’s no way Chris Simms can say with a straight face that he actually believes these rankings. No chance in hell at all.

Mond as the fourth best guy? Fields as number five? Wilson over Lawrence? This must be a practical joke.

Let’s start with Fields being fourth. There’s no scenario where Fields is worse than the third best passer and he could be as high as second.

He’s a freak athlete with a cannon for an arm. I’m willing to listen to arguments that Wilson might be better, but worst case scenario, Fields is third.

Putting him behind Mond is so insulting that it’s almost beyond words.

As for Trevor Lawrence being number two, it makes me think even more that this isn’t a real list. Lawrence is the most surefire draft pick in the past two decades. Wilson is great, but Lawrence has the tools of a hall of fame-caliber player.

Seriously, what a disaster of a list from Simms. Let us know what you think in the comments.
