Former NFL star Kellen Winslow II has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.

According to ESPN, Winslow was officially sentenced Wednesday on multiple sex crime charges. The former NFL tight end was found guilty of horrific crimes against several women, including multiple rapes and assault. One of the rapes he pleaded guilty to involved an unconscious teenager. He will now serve the next 14 years in prison, which was the maximum sentence allowed under the plea deal according to the same report.

Judge Blaine Bowman told the former Buccaneers tight end that he had “two words” to describe him, and they were “sexual predator.”

I sure hope Winslow enjoys his time in prison. He 100% deserves to be there. Winslow was originally convicted of raping a 58-year-old woman, and then accepted a plea deal to avoid a retrial on several other charges.

Now, he’ll serve nearly a decade and a half behind bars for his horrific actions.

He could have done anything he wanted with his life after retiring from the NFL. Instead, he chose to prey on women and sexually abuse them. He’ll now spend the next 14 years thinking long and hard about his actions. Trust me, there’s no place other than prison where he deserves to be.
