Indiana football coach Tom Allen has earned himself a new deal.
The Hoosiers announced Monday morning that Allen’s seven-year contract has been amended to give him a new base salary of $4.9 million for the duration of the deal. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
The deal goes through the 2027 season. Allen earned $3.77 million last season.

Tom Allen is worth every single penny of this raise. He’s 100% worth paying nearly $5 million a year. No offense to all the fans of the Hoosiers, but the team has been a joke for a long time.
For the past several decades, nobody has feared playing the Hoosiers. Allen is changing the narrative.

This past season, the Hoosiers had wins over Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan. They were one of the best teams in America before Michael Penix. Jr. went down with a season ending injury.
Allen’s leadership has a lot to with the program’s success. He has turned the Hoosiers into a formidable foe.
