Nebraska scored their biggest victory in decades Wednesday thanks to the Supreme Court.
The court is hearing a case about whether or not college athletes should be allowed to profit, and Justice Clarence Thomas had a line that will make everyone in Nebraska cheer. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
According to Dan Wetzel, Thomas referred to the Cornhuskers as an “upper level” program in literally the same sentence as Ohio State and Alabama.
Justice Thomas notes “that sounds fine for the upper level schools, whether its Alabama, Ohio State, Nebraska …” Cornhusker fans celebrate that they are still considered “upper level” with such company.

I’m not exaggerating at all when I say that this is the biggest victory for the Cornhuskers in at least the past decade.
It could honestly be longer. Being called an “upper level” program in the same category as Alabama and Ohio State is hands down a victory for everyone in Lincoln.
A Supreme Court justice calling Nebraska an “upper level” program is the biggest win the Cornhuskers have had in a decade. https://t.co/lHhUjGdyhm

It’s also completely laughable. Not only is Nebraska a joke, but yours truly (props to me) decapitated them a couple years ago.
I destroyed the Cornhuskers, let the streets flow with their blood and conquered their lands.
Huge thank you to everybody who made my trip to Nebraska an unforgettable experience.
The Cornhuskers truly have the best fans in America. I felt at home, and lost count of all the free drinks we were given.

If you think about it, Nebraska fans should be thanking me. I burned their program to the ground and from the ashes, they have the opportunity to build a brighter future.
Without their complete and total destruction, they’d be stuck in the disappointing cycle that we’ve seen again and again over the past decade.
Now that the game is over and Wisconsin won, I want to say I am blown away by the hospitality of Nebraska fans.
They won’t let me pay for a drink. I was told they’re the nicest fans in the sport, and they didn’t disappoint.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are an all-class fanbase.

Maybe they will return to being an elite program, and they’ll have me to thank for torching it all down to get them started. As for right now, they’re still a joke.
