Former Alabama star DeVonta Smith doesn’t weigh much at all.

According to a Wednesday report from Albert Breer, the Heisman winner and talented receiver has weighed in at 166 pounds ahead of the NFL draft. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

His height checked in at just barely north of six feet tall.

We all expected Smith to be on the skinny side, but I’m not sure anyone expected him to be this skinny. Weighing under 170 pounds at his height is very skinny.

Granted, I’m taller than him and weigh even less, but I’m also not going to be a first round pick in the NFL draft.

Having said all of that, you know what Smith’s biggest asset is? All the tape we’ve seen on him while he was playing at Alabama.

He didn’t need to weigh much to torch defenses in college, and I’m not sure he needs to beef up to dominate in the NFL.

His size won’t matter if his route running is so good that he’s constantly open. If you can’t get your hands on him, then he doesn’t have to worry about breaking tackles.

Trust me, Smith is going to be just fine in the NFL.
