The Carolina Panthers have shipped Teddy Bridgewater to the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos announced Wednesday on Instagram that the team has acquired the former Panthers quarterback. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

According to Tom Pelissero, Bridgewater was traded to the Broncos for only the 191st trade in the upcoming draft. That’s not much for a guy who has plenty of starts and is a former first round pick!

Am I crazy here or are the Broncos coming out as huge winners here? They get a serviceable quarterback to compete with Drew Lock, only have to pay part of his contract and only had to give up a sixth round pick.

This seems like highway robbery on paper.

We all knew the Panthers were likely going to move Bridgewater after they traded for Sam Darnold, but I’m not sure anyone expected them to only bag the 191st pick in return.

Now, it’s 100% the Darnold show in Carolina and Bridgewater and Lock will battle it out to see who starts in Denver. What a wild afternoon of NFL action.
