Comedy legend Patton Oswalt’s family has some history with UFOs.

As I’ve said too many times to count, UFOs are seemingly the number one topic in the news these days with more and more people sharing their experiences. The former “Justified” actor recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, and talked about how his dad, who was a pilot in the Marines, used to see them. In fact, several pilots would see them on a regular basis, according to Oswalt. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Oswalt told Jimmy Kimmel the following in part about his dad’s experiences in the Marines, according to BroBible:

He said he was on a test flight, and he saw a bunch of objects. He said they look like glowing balls of energy in like these like round metal cages, and they were keeping track with the jets. And they were doing these turns that you couldn’t do under those G-forces and would disappear. And when he came down and talked to his base commander and said, ‘Hey, my squad saw…,’ and the base commander went, ‘Were they metal cages with like energy balls in them?’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah…’ [And he said], ‘do you want to report them?’ And he’s like, ‘No, I don’t.’ And the commander just went, ‘Good, fine,’ and then, like, walked away.

The stories just never end, right? They just keep flowing out from everywhere. We have Shaq, Obama, the military and now Patton Oswalt all on the UFO train.

At this point, I’m not sure who isn’t on it.

Don’t we just have to shoot one of these things down eventually? I mean, why not? If they’re legit threats, which appears to be unproven at this point, then shooting one down would seem like the best way to identify them.

Of course, we haven’t done that, which makes me think my theory that it’s our own tech is correct.

I can’t wait to see who comes forward next with a story of their own. I’m sure there are a lot more people holding stuff back.
