Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari’s divorce isn’t finalized yet, reportedly due to financial issues.

“Everybody is cooperating to get everything finalized and valued,” an insider shared with E! News about the finalizing of the former couple’s divorce in a piece published Tuesday.

“Everything has been agreed on except the division of assets,” the source added. “Generally, in divorce cases, assets, including businesses are valued and then determined on how they are split.” (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

“Uncommon James [Cavallari’s lifestyle business] is her company, so it’s natural for it to be valued, and as soon as it’s done, they will look at it and decide how to divide it,” the source continued, also explaining that in the state of Tennessee, the business is “considered a marital asset” since “it was created during their marriage.” (RELATED: Kristin Cavallari And Jay Cutler Are Getting A Divorce)

“If a business is created or acquired during a marriage, it is a marital asset because both parties have an interest,” the source explained.  “Once the value is determined, the parties will agree to how it is divided [and] the percentage.”

“Jay and Kristin are getting along fine as far as moving along to get this over with,” the source added.

However, Cavallari’s attorney Rose Palermo shared with the outlet that the divorce is proceeding according to the court’s timeline.

“There is no delay on the divorce,” Palmero said. “It’s proceeding according to the schedule the court set out.”

The former NFL QB and “The Hills” alum announced they were separating in April last year after 10 years together. The two share three kids.
