Not everyone is happy with Oklahoma and Texas joining the SEC.
The Longhorns and Sooners are expected to join the SEC at some point in the coming years, and the decision to leave the Big 12 should make a ton of people a lot of money. “If you really survey the bigger picture in the SEC, there are a lot of people who are scared and there are a lot of people who are concerned because they saw what the Big 12 allowed Texas to do, basically creating their own Longhorn Network, being able to kind of set the rules and move the goalposts that would most benefit them,” former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy explained during a recent appearance on “KJZ.”

Look, anyone in the SEC who isn’t excited about this move just doesn’t understand what’s going on. The SEC is going to be swimming in money and no conference in America will be able to touch them top-to-bottom on a football field.
This is going to be the best thing that ever happened to the SEC, and it’s that simple.

If you’re worried about Texas having too much control, you should be able to breathe easy because that will never happen. Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M aren’t going to allow a situation to be created where the Longhorns do whatever they want.
