Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz is reportedly out for an unknown amount of time.
According to Adam Schefter and Mike Wells, Wentz “is out indefinitely as he undergoes further testing on a foot injury” that the former Eagles starter suffered in practice Thursday. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
For the time being, Jacob Eason is running the first team offense and former Texas star Sam Ehlinger is QB2.

Well, this is obviously not good at all for the Colts, Wentz and all the fans. The Colts were injected with a ton of energy when the team traded for Wentz.
The Eagles wanted nothing to do with him, but the hope is that Frank Reich can re-spark some of the magic the duo had in Philly.

However, camp is just getting underway and the team’s new franchise quarterback is out indefinitely with a foot issue.
While I’m not sure it’s time to panic, it’s safe to say that this is definitely not what fans want to hear right now.

Hopefully, Wentz is able to be back on the field sooner than later. The last thing the Colts need is to be starting Jacob Eason when week one rolls around.
