Tim Tebow’s time with the Jacksonville Jaguars has come to an end.

The team made the decision Tuesday morning to cut the Florida Heisman winner after he attempted to become a tight end. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

In response to losing his spot with the Jaguars, Tebow kept it classy and tweeted in part, “I’ve never wanted to make decisions out of fear of failure and I’m grateful for the chance to have pursued a dream.”

I guess this is truly the end of the road for the legendary college quarterback. After failing as a passer in the league, he just couldn’t cut it as a converted tight end.

At the end of the day, he was fighting an uphill battle and it just wasn’t meant to be.

The fact he kept it classy after losing his job tells you everything you need to know about Tebow. He’s a classy man who was simply thankful for one last shot in the NFL.

It takes a special kind of person to even attempt a comeback in their 30s after several years out of the league.

Hopefully, Tebow finds something he loves and dives into it with all of his passion. At the very least, he can always be an analyst on TV, which he’s great at.

Props to Tebow for giving the NFL one last shot.
