Multiple members of the Pittsburgh Steelers decided to spend some time Monday fighting during practice.

According to TribLive.com, the situation started with Minkah Fitzpatrick and Chase Claypool exchanging words and it ended with “a physical altercation involving many more players.” (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

“I just saw the big pile,” guard Kevin Dotson told the media, according to the same report.

You know football is almost here when players are swinging on each other during practice. It’s a tale as old as time.

Tempers flare, tensions boil over and eventually someone swings on a teammate.

The only difference between this situation and most brawls that you see in college football is that this one involved some star players.

Generally speaking, star players don’t like getting into melees during camp. They have way too much to lose and there’s just no point.
