It looks like people involved with the Nebraska Cornhuskers are very interested in former Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler.

As pointed out by BroBible, multiple Cornhuskers figures have followed Rattler on Twitter as people wait for him to announce his transfer decision. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Most notably, Nebraska’s Director of Player Personnel Sean Dillon and Assistant Director of Player Personnel Ryan Callaghan both followed him.

Now, does this mean Nebraska is going to land the former Oklahoma star? Of course not, but it is interesting to say the least.

Where there’s smoke, there’s certainly at least a small fire. Based on the Twitter follows alone, I’d say Nebraska is at least interested in checking out Rattler.

For the sake of argument, let’s assume Scott Frost and company land Rattler. What does that mean for the Cornhuskers?

It means they’ll have their most talented quarterback in a very long time, and Frost might actually manage to win enough games to save his job.

Believe it or not, Nebraska wasn’t as bad as their 3-9 record would have you believe. They were the best 3-9 team in college football history, and Rattler could actually push them over the edge in a couple close games.

If this does happen, it’ll be the biggest win of Frost’s career in Lincoln, and that’s not an understatement at all. If you’re a fan of the Cornhuskers, you better be hoping like hell this happens!
