Obviously, this is huge news for the Longhorns. Ewers was the top QB in the transfer portal, and he’s now headed home after leaving the Buckeyes.
If you’re a fan of the Longhorns, you have to be very happy right now. Ewers is a legit phenom and the biggest QB recruit in a long time.
It didn’t work out in Columbus, and he’s now headed to Austin. With Texas desperately in need of a savior, Ewers will have the opportunity to carve out his place in history.
He makes the Longhorns relevant again, he’ll become a massive hero in the state. That’s to put it lightly.
