Wisconsin’s basketball team is no longer ranked.

The Badgers lost a rough game this past Saturday on the road to the Ohio State Buckeyes, and that was apparently enough to knock us out of the rankings.

When the new AP Top 25 was released Monday afternoon, the Badgers were no longer ranked and were instead the top team receiving votes, despite the fact we’re 8-2.

How the hell did we drop out of the rankings after losing on the road to a very good Buckeyes team? We went from 22 to unranked in the same week we beat a solid Indiana team.

Once again, the Badgers get no respect. We drop a game, the world is coming to an end. We win a game, nobody cares.

It’s a vicious cycle we can’t get out of.

I guess Wisconsin will just have to do what we always do, which is just get to work no matter who or what is against us.

If the national media wants to ignore us, so be it. We’ll just go take care of business.

Next up is Illinois State. Let’s find a way to bounce back!
