A former nanny that worked for actors Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis allegedly claimed Sudeikis threw himself under Wilde’s car in an attempt to prevent her from leaving him. Sudeikis and Wilde denied the allegations Monday night in a joint statement.

“As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly,” Wilde and Sudeikis said in a joint statement provided to CNN. “Her now 18 month long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex.”

The former nanny claimed, according to the Daily Mail, that Wilde was planning on leaving him, which made Sudeikis distraught. She also claimed Sudeikis panicked when he saw his live-in fiancée make a special salad dressing to take to singer and actor Harry Styles, which caused him to go under Wilde’s car, according to the Daily Mail.

The nanny, who remained nameless, stated she was caught in-between Sudeikis and Wilde, according to the Daily Mail. (RELATED: Olivia Wilde And Florence Pugh Reportedly Had An On-Set Screaming Match)

The nanny also allegedly shared text messages between herself and the celebrity couple, which purported to show Wilde moved into a lavish hotel in November 2020. Wilde said the move was due to a COVID-19 outbreak, but she later dumped Sudeikis, according to the Daily Mail.

“It was supposed to be a temporary break for Covid but that turned out to be how she left us,” the nanny said to Daily Mail.  “He thought it was a temporary break.”
